Are you an artist who seeks more from their art than it just being a hobby? Then getting interest in your work for it to produce an income is a must. To do this you need marketing and promotional success, which will enable you to start earning a living from your artistic output.

Today we are going to talk about 10 ways you can find a market for your work and where you can learn more about what is required of you to be successful.

1.
—–
Before you do any painting at all, afford yourself the time to do your market research. One of the biggest reasons for artists failing in their pursuit to become professional is a lack of understanding of what the market wants. Dont be so arrogant as to assume you know everything and that what you paint is right.

Chances are that it isnt, so dont assume anything. Go out there into the World and see whats on offer and, more to the point, what is selling. Galleries are full of pictures that dont sell so ignore those. Ask the proprietor to show you what sells best and why and to whom?

2.
—–
Secondly, remember that what you are seeing for sale is what was created for last season. Most galleries stock prints these days for the mass market so you need to know what is coming next rather than what is on show now. Imagine taking inspiration from a style on display only to return with a new offering to be told that is now old hat.

3.
—–
You must ensure that you visit the trade shows to see what the publishers, independents and importers are offering next seasons market. Even this will meet you a step behind as the artists on display there are already working on next seasons ideas.

However, by taking guidance from the trade show you can at least sell to the galleries armed with colours and themes in current context. Most importantly, talk to the publishers about your work and ask them about the process of presenting yourself for consideration.

4.
—–
If you are satisfied to sell your work as original only you will need to form relationships with good and reputable galleries. The value of art is in its perception by the viewer. For example, if you hang your work in an exclusive gallery, you will expect to command a much higher price than in your local town, side street, so aim high and get the best wall space you can.

Talk to several gallery owners and listen to what they have to say. Most will be honest about your work and tell you exactly how likely it is to sell in their establishment. Wall space is valuable so they wont waste it. You will need a thick skin at times so be prepared for harsh criticism. No matter who you are, some will love your work while others will hate it.

5.
—–
Discuss a fair retail price based on a fair price for you and the gallery. If you are happy with a price dont start flinching when the gallery says they will sell it for maybe over double your price. They have to charge tax for a start, then cover all their expenses and actually find you a buyer before they see any profit for their trouble. So, dont begrudge them their share.

6.
—–
Wherever your work is on show, make an effort to accompany it so you can talk to prospective customers. Art buyers love to meet the artist in person and you can do yourself a great deal of good by putting in an appearance if only at weekends. Talk to the Gallery, they are sure to welcome such proposals.

7.
—–
If you are going to sell your work yourself, make use of every opportunity to gain exposure. An excellent new way of doing this is through a fantastic new website facility called DebutDay.com (www.debutday.com).

This site is dedicated to bringing artists to the attention of the World by beating the search engine process and parading you in front of everyone searching for what is latest on the market. Its inexpensive and you can control what you display and how you present yourself.

Its probably the most proactive site to arrive in a long time and will do as much to find you a publishing opportunity as it will to sell to the general public. If you are serious about your art, you must make use of this site.

8.
—–
When you create new works try and adopt a theme for a collection. Single pieces do little to help the buying public form an opinion about you or your work. Some will want to find an artist to collect, so unless they can see more than one example of your work they will find this difficult to do.

So, dont settle for one painting, aim for at least three or four in a set, it will do much for your credibility and will considerably assist your success.

9.
—–
Whatever you display for sale, make sure it is accompanied by a Title and a Written Explanation. The buying public love a story, it helps them to understand your work, gain more from the imagery and, believe it or not, such background information will assist them with a good subconscious reason for purchasing. Your information will make them an informed buyer. This will in turn allow them to impress their friends when they come to call.

10.
—–
Finally, in my experience the biggest mistakes artists make is to try and be something they are not or to try and convince the public of such. Painting a woman with an eye on the side of her head does not make you Picasso so dont try to be. Artists like him are famous as much for their creation of the style as they are for any integral artistic ability.

The first rule of creativity is to be true unto yourself, unsuppressed by the need to conform to what others expect or may perceive as art. If you do not allow yourself this right of expression you will rarely find joy in painting.

But then you must be able to step out of the real you and find a way of harnessing your talent in a commercial way that may have more chance to support you until such time as your own passions are recognised as desirable enough in their own right to earn you a living

"REIDI GUL"
BAND: Yasir & Jawad (Y & J)
Poetry: Ghani Khan

ENGLISH TRANSLATION::
...
In a desert, once, on a hunt did I find,
With a radiant smile, a flower so fair;

Sadly, I approached and sighed, “Ah! Of my kind
Are you too – a hapless flower from a beloved's hair.

Frail fingers wouldn't take you to a soft face so close,
Nor would you be kissed by lips delicate and rose.”

With a silent smile the flower replied, “Don't lose heart!

This desert I wouldn't give up for the gardens of Iran,
A solitary I am here while legions are there,

Amidst this cursed soil I stand apart.

In this gray desert, a flamboyant flame of divine light am I,
Beauty's silent song, a miracle from the sky.

In your garden, there are thousands of flowers like me
A nameless droplet in a nameless sea.

You too, in your desert, don't feel forlorn,
To behold you at last shall come a sore "Ghani Khan".

iPad was the first device which gave the concept of completely different OS for the tablet rather than running windows of any other OS on them. So , currently Android tablets has Android 2.2 or Android 2.3 in it which are actually designed to the Android smartphones. So , if you don’t know Honey Android 3.0 will come soon and it is specially designed for the tablet devices.
Well we don’t know much about Honeycomb, but today AndroidCentral has shared some screenshots of Honeycomb which reveals the user interface and many other stuff of the upcoming Android 3.0 OS.These Screenshots show the culmination of wandering through the Android 3.0 SDK preview.Things could change till its final release but it would definitely be more like this.

2011 is set to be yet another exciting year for mobile phones, so if you are interested in the handsets that are landing in the near future, read on for a look at what is coming up in the next few months.

LG Optimus X2
The Optimus X2 is set to be the world’s first dual core smartphone, running Nvidia’s Tegra2 processor, which will give it more than twice the potential power than current generation handsets. Whether this will make much difference in practice remains to be seen, but with Android 2.3 onboard and the ability to shoot video clips in full HD 1080p, it will be setting the benchmark, which other contenders will have to match.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
Sony Ericsson is finally getting into its stride and the Xperia Arc, or theX12 as it will also be known, is a step in the right direction. Its 4.2-inch screen will be one of the largest on the market and with Android 2.3 onboard it will be right at the cutting edge when it comes to software. The Arc has been given its name because the rear forms a concave curve, which allows it to be slimmer than any of its rivals at the thinnest point.
Apple iPhone 5
This phone is likely to launch in the summer and although Apple has not officially confirmed any of the details there are various solid rumours circulating regarding its specs. It will possibly feature a dual core processor, which will allow it to be the technical equal of the other high-end smartphones that launch this year. Like the Google Nexus S, it could have Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities built into it to allow for mobile payments at shops. According to rumours, it will be yet another design overhaul just 12 months after the iPhone 4 revolutionised the look of smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Following the global success of the Galaxy S, Samsung is expanding the range with the Samsung Galaxy Ace, an Android 2.2-based smartphone. It will be smaller and cheaper than its predecessor, with a 3.5-inch LCD display in place of the four in Super AMOLED, but it will still pack a punch with an 800MHz processor and a five megapixel camera. The Galaxy Gio, Fit and Mini will also be arriving in the coming months, hitting the budget end of the market for those who want smartphone functionality for the minimum possible price.
HTC Gratia
‘Compact’ is the watchword with the HTC Gratia, which measures just over 5cm wide and 10cm tall but still manages to deliver some superb features. The dinky design has not prevented the ever-innovative Taiwanese manufacturer from squeezing a 3.2 inch touchscreen onto the device, complete with pinch-to-zoom capability for users who will also enjoy a 600MHz processor and 5 megapixel camera. A 3.5mm stereo audio jack also finds its way onto the Gratia, which boasts HTC’s ‘Polite ringer’ – the ringtone volume drops when you pick up your ringing handset, and if you turn the phone over it stops ringing altogether and quietly takes a message. A discreet little phone for people who want HTC technology without a big bulge in their pocket.

At at joint press conference recently, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Nokia CEO Stephen Elop gave us what is might be the hatch of this newly forged partnership between their two companie. Fans of Nokia hardware and the Windows Phone software can get excited about the prospects of Xbox Live, Office, and enhanced maps (a combination of Ovi Maps and Bing) coming to Nokia WP sets. And as for those who love Windows Phone in general can get excited about the world’s largest phone manufacturer throwing its weight behind the recently launched mobile OS.

In a letter to developers, the companies noted that Qt would still be supported for Symbian and MeeGo — Nokia expects to ship 150 million Symbian phones during the transition; there was also mention of the first MeeGo device shipping later this year. The letter was quite clear in saying that Microsoft would “provide tools for application developers,” not Nokia. Translation: No Qt. This transition from Symbian to Windows Phone is going to be an interesting tightrope for Nokia to walk — especially in regards to developers. The aforementioned letter is waiting for you after the break. Have a look and let us know what you think in the comments.

Letter to Developers about Today’s News
11 February, 2011 10:05

Nokia and Microsoft today announced plans to form a broad strategic partnership that would combine our complementary strengths and expertise to create a new global mobile ecosystem, one we believe would have all the elements needed to fuel innovation – including search, location, advertising and exciting new devices.
As part of this, Nokia plans to adopt Windows Phone as our primary smartphone strategy, helping drive the future of the platform. This has not been a decision taken lightly by Nokia and we wanted to share some of the key points with our developer community.
Nokia and Microsoft together
The Nokia-Microsoft ecosystem would aim to deliver differentiated and innovative products and have unrivalled scale, product breadth, geographical reach, and brand identity. With Windows Phone as our primary smartphone platform, we would help drive the future of the platform by leveraging our expertise in hardware optimization, software customization, language support and scale.
Microsoft would make available the existing free Windows Phone Developer Tools; Visual Studio 2010, Expression, Silverlight and the XNA Framework to developers. Together, we will provide guidance for developers wishing to port their applications to Windows Phone.
Nokia and Microsoft would also combine services assets to drive innovation. Nokia’s Ovi Maps, for example, would be at the heart of key Microsoft assets like Bing and AdCenter, and Nokia’s application and content store would be integrated with Microsoft Marketplace for Nokia Windows Phones, to deliver a great single commerce experience for developers and consumers alike.
The Qt ecosystem
Qt will continue to be the development framework for Symbian and Nokia will use Symbian for further devices; continuing to develop strategic applications in Qt for Symbian platform and encouraging application developers to do the same. With 200 million users worldwide and Nokia planning to sell around 150 million more Symbian devices, Symbian still offers unparalleled geographical scale for developers.
Extending the scope of Qt further will be our first MeeGo-related open source device, which we plan to ship later this year. Though our plans for MeeGo have been adapted in light of our planned partnership with Microsoft, that device will be compatible with applications developed within the Qt framework and so give Qt developers a further device to target.
Nokia Mobile Phones
Nokia Mobile Phones will drive Nokia’s “web for the next billion” strategy, leveraging Nokia’s innovation and strength in growth markets to connect the next billion people and bring them affordable access to the Internet and applications. This represents a further opportunity for developers. Nokia will leverage our proxy browser technology on mobile phones, as well as continuing to enhance Java support and SDKs, with developers and publishers able to deliver their applications to consumers through the Nokia store.
Supporting our developers
As part of the change in Nokia’s organization announced today, the Services and Developer Experiences (SDX) unit will be responsible for Nokia’s global service portfolio, developer offering, developer community relations, and integration of partner service offering. Forum Nokia will be part of that unit and will continue to support developers for Symbian smartphones and Series 40 mobile phones.
We will strengthen our ability to support developers both globally and in local markets, ensuring that we can work with you wherever you are to bring your latest applications to our store and help you leverage the global revenue opportunity with Symbian and Series 40.
For Nokia Windows Phones, Microsoft would provide tools for application developers to easily and rapidly leverage Nokia’s market reach. The integration of Microsoft Marketplace and Nokia’s content and application store would provide scalable infrastructure and compelling consumer engagement for applications for Nokia Windows Phones.
The combined stores would offer unparalleled distribution. The Ovi Store already delivers content in 190 countries, with local specific content in 90 of those. We are now seeing 4 million downloads a day, with 300,000 users signing up daily and 400,000 developers now working on applications for Nokia on Symbian. In addition to offering operator billing with 103 operators in 32 countries, we plan to support the widest range of business models for our publishers and developers.
We plan to make it easy and profitable for all developers to thrive in the ecosystem, taking advantage of the enablers (API’s) offered by ourselves, Microsoft and other partners – including location, search, monetization and advertising.
What’s next?
As we said, this announcement is about our plans to work with Microsoft and the planning will continue. Our aim is to keep you informed as plans develop, through our Forum Nokia and Ovi Publish websites, newsletters and in person. In the meantime, we want to help you maximize the existing business opportunity, developing for the approximately 50 million Qt capable Symbian smartphones already in use and approximately 150 million more that we target to sell, as well as hundreds of millions of Nokia mobile phones.
We think this is going to be an exciting journey and look forward to having you with us!

A "back to top HTML arrow or button" is a little arrow ,a little image button, usually placed in the left bottom corner of the page. When the back to top image/arrow is clicked the page is scrolling (jumping) to the top. This is very useful for your visitors so they can navigate on your blog easier. To add a back to top html button/arrow just follow the steps bellow:

1. Go to your blogger dashboard
2. Go to Layout
3. Click Edit HTML
4. Find the
line
5. Add imediatly after it the following code

6. Customize the code:
 • change the red highlighted numbers to change the distance between the side or bottom of the screen
 • change bottom with top to put the buttom at the top of the page
 • change right with left to put the button at the left side of the screen
 • change the bold text(URL) with the URL of your image (you can use my image if you link to my blog , see the details at the sidebar)
 • change the width and the height of the image
7. Save your template!

Search Engines like Google , Yahoo , MSN are checking the images , not only the text of your page but the search engines can`t see the content of your images, they just check the HTML code of the image. Read these steps and optimize your images for a better SEO!

1. To have SEO friendly images use your keywords in the image filename. Don`t use filenames like: 001.jpg or 2009-01-01.jpg Use relevant keywords for your page in the filename: keyword.jpg or keyword1-keyword2.jpg

2. Another important thing is to use the ALT attribute, the alt attribute is the description of the image, like at the filename write a short description including the most relevant keywords.

3. The title tag is the title of the image, use 2, 3 relevant keywords for the title, like at the ALT attribute

The HTML code of a SEO friendly image will look like this:

Note: Don`t stuff your ALT or Title tag with too many keywords , use just 2-3 relevant keywords.

The meta keyword tag is a list of keywords for search engines. Unlike the meta description , we can generate automatically the meta keywords (We can generate automatically the meta description ,too but it`s better to write ). Usually the most relevant keywords of a post are in the title, so we can use the keywords from the title as meta keywords. It`s simple to do it , just follow these easy steps:

1. Go to Layout , Edit HTML
2. Find the following code:
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
3. Add the following code after it:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>

</b:if>
4. Save template
NOTE: Google do not place much weight on these keywords but yahoo and some search engines are using them.

Headings are defining the size of the the text. H1 is the biggest and H6 the smallest one. The headings are important from SEO perspective, too. Search Engines like Google give more importance for H1 text, the mort important keywords are in the title of the posts so we need to use H1 for them.( The post title size is set by default to H2 or H3.) Here is how to:

1. Find the following code in your template:
<b:if cond='data:post.title'>
<b:if cond='data:post.link'> <data:post.title/> <b:else/> <b:if cond='data:post.url'> <data:post.title/> <b:else/> <data:post.title/> </b:if> </b:if>
</b:if>
(some templates have h2 , change the red numbers to 2 and search again)

2. After finding the above code change the red h2 or h3 tags to h1

3. If you think the H1 is too big add this CSS code before </b:skin>
h1.post-title, .post h1 #Blog1 h1, #Blog2 h1 { font-size:1.5em; }
(this is the size what i am using , but you can change it)

The default form of the posts title is Blog title : Post title. This isn`t an efficient method because Google shows only 69 characters of the title tag and it`s better to place the most relevant keywords first. For a better SEO efficiency use a title form like Post title | Blog title or Post title - Blog title. Changeing the title tag is very simple ,just follow the steps bellow:

1. Edit your blog template HTML (go to Layout , Edit HTML) and search (Ctrl+F for FireFox) for this line :

<data:blog.pageTitle/>

2. Replace it with this code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<data:blog.pageName/> | <data:blog.title/>
<b:else/>
<data:blog.pageTitle/>
</b:if>
3. The character in red is separating the post title from the blog title, you can use any other character or keyword instead.
UPDATE: Please read my other post about optimizing the posts title tag with h1 headings!

The backlinks are incoming links to your blog.
The google pagerank is the score of your blog.
For a higher pagerank your blog needs to have backlinks. The most important factor isn`t the quantity of backlinks , more important is the pagerank of each backlink. The anchor text is also important, the anchor text is a clickable text ,it`s need to be relevant to your page. As you see in the above picture , the page C has a high pagerank with a single backlink. The page E has a lot of backlinks but with small pageranks. There are 2 type of links: DoFollow and NoFollow links. The NoFollow links have no value in the eyes of search engines, only the DoFollow ones are counted as backlinks.
There are many ways to create backlinks , i will show you some of them:

1. You can buy the backlinks
There are many backlinks building services, they create backlinks for a fee. This is one of the fastest ways but this isn`t free.2. Comment on other blogs
You can build backlinks by commenting on other blogs. Most blogs have a Name/URL option, put some relevant keywords as name and the adress of your blog as URL or simply leave your link in the text of the comment. Don`t spam , comment something whats relevant to the given post. You can use the Free Fast Blog Finder tool to find high PR blogs.
3. Be active on forums
Most of the forums are allowing signatures , leave your link in your signature. Be active on forums cause every post is a new backlink.
4. Blog directories
Submit your blog to blog directories like DMOZ or Yahoo Directory. You can select from free or payd directories , the result can be the sam at both , but at the paid directories you will be listed more faster.
5. Article Directories
Write quality posts and submit them to article directories like: Ezinearticles and Goarticles

These are the most popular and easiesr ways , but you can find other way too. eg: create a profile on social networks and share your links or use a backlink checker tools to see your competitors backlinks to get ideas.....If you have an idea please feel free to share it in a comment!

The meta description as the name tells is a short description of your posts, the meta description is supported by almost all major search engines, e.g.: Google , Yahoo , MSN....
If you google it probably you will found a code what is looking like this one:

This is the basic code of a meta description but this is usually used for webpages not for blogs because this code will give the same description to every post of your blog. If we want to have a well SEO optimized blog we need to use different descriptions for each post. To use different description for every post complete the following steps:

1. Open the Layout panel and go to Edit HTML
2. Save your template by clicking on the Download full template button (to backup if something goes wrong)
3. Find the following code:
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
4. Add this code after the above code:
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://articles-city.blogspot.com/2010/12/journey-by-lee.html"'>
</b:if>
5. Change the red marked url with the full url of your post.
6. Change the green marked text with the description of your post
7. Create a code like this for each post.

8. Save your template.

NOTE: Don`t use more than 150 characters in your description.
Add the code for a post and put the code for the next post directly after it. To add description to the main page change the red marked url with the homepage of your blog: e.g: http://articles-city.blogspot.com/

They crawl in the dark. They build webs to trap their prey before they lunge at them and devour. Their fangs are filled with venom. And the many hairs on their legs make your own hairs rise in fear. But there is no escaping their many small eyes. Spiders are eight-legged-creatures feared by many people. Yet these creatures are quite misunderstood. So before we pass judgment on these arachnids, let us take a look at some interesting facts on spiders.
Spiders are the seventh organisms with the most number of species. In 2008, about 109 families and 40,000 species of spiders were recorded by taxonomists. So clearly, these creatures are pretty diverse. Yet they all have one thing in common, their body structure. A spider has eight legs and two main body parts, the abdomen and the thorax. So contrary to popular belief, these spiders are not insects because insects have two main body parts and 6 legs.
Speaking of body structures, spiders have different numbers of eyes. Spiders can have 8 or 6 eyes. Yet there are some that have less and a few that have no eyes at all. And even the spiders with eight eyes don’t really have good eyesight. Spiders are very much nearsighted and so they use the hairs on their bodies to sense if there are other animals near and to feel their way around.
All spiders have fangs with venoms. But not all of their venoms are lethal, to humans at least. So for most spider bites you only feel the pain or an inflammation but nothing more serious than that unless we are talking about the black widow. Black widows are highly poisonous. Despite her minute size, there have already been humans killed by a black widow’s bite. Good thing though, they don’t usually live near people. As to why they are called black widow, it is most likely because a black widow kills and eats her mate at times, making her a widow.
Tarantulas are quite the opposite of black widows. These tarantulas are the largest spiders in the world. And many are quite afraid of them because of their size. But to humans, a tarantula bite would cause nothing more than pain on the bitten area. So, they are not as lethal and scary as they look. In fact, tarantulas are quite good, good mothers, that is. They are highly protective of their children. They carry their cocoons with them and once the eggs have hatched, they still carry their babies on their backs. And if a baby falls off, mama tarantula will quickly retrieve the baby.
You see, not all spiders are to be afraid of, just like the fact that not all spiders spin webs. One particular spider is the wolf spider. The wolf spider would rather chase scuttling insects rather than build webs to trap them. And the wolf spider is just like all other spiders. Spiders prey on insects and keep them from overpopulating and infesting your garden or your home. So I guess spiders are quite nice creatures after all. Yet fear of spiders, called Arachnophobia, is one of the most common fears among humans.

Everybody have dreams. We are not referring about dreams that talk about what we want to be when we grow up, but rather those dreams that we have every time we sleep. Some of us have already encountered good and pleasant dreams; however, there are also times when we experience terrifying ones, which are otherwise known as nightmares. But why do these dreams happen? A lot of us find it hard to answer this question. Sometimes when we wake up from a dream, we tend to forget what it was, while there are also times when every detail of the dream remains perfectly in our minds even when we are awake. In addition to these, it is also very possible for us to dream about someone. Nevertheless, the reasons behind these are still unexplained. So let us now try to discuss, what does it mean when you dream about someone?
First of all, it is important for us to know why our dreams occur. Dreams are considered as responses to our thoughts. It is recognized as mental or psychological signals that are coming from the unconscious level of our brain. However, if they are looked at a spiritual aspect, dreams are considered as messages, warnings or signs coming from divine beings or even from significant people who already passed away. No matter how we look at dreams, we can still say that interpreting them is mostly based on guesswork. Nevertheless, some scientific theories are present in order to help us analyze and interpret the meaning of these things. But what does dreaming of or about someone mean?
Whenever we dream of someone, it could mean several things. One, if we know someone and we have been dreaming of him or her, then the most probable reason for this is that we have been thinking of that person way too much. It is also possible that we have been thinking of the person right before we went to sleep. Sometimes, when our minds are working very hard even before going to bed, we can sometimes carry our thoughts into our sleep. This now becomes part of our unconsciousness, which then turns to one of our dreams. However, dreaming of someone is more of an effect of the person’s personality, attitude or our relationship to him or her rather than the person itself. In addition to this, if we are under a lot of stress, we might also experience having dreams of the person who have caused us the stress like our boss, our teachers or even our enemies.
On the other hand, when we dream of a person that we like, this basically implies that we have been thinking of this person a lot. When we go to work, eat in a restaurant or watch a movie, we sometimes cannot resist thinking of the person we like. This goes the same whenever we sleep at night; however, it is already in the form of our dreams.
These are basically the answers to the question; what does it mean when you dream of someone? Now we can clearly see why dreams happen as well as the different factors that could trigger these dreams to occur.

Nowadays, we are fond of using different terms in order to easily describe things that are common these days. Some of these terminologies may not be recognized as a formal word by the dictionary, but using these can sometimes help us convey what we are trying to say or mean. Nevertheless, some words are also very hard to understand especially if it is still new to other people. A good example of this is the term “hobnocker”. We may have heard this word before in TV shows or in some of the conversations we’ve had with other people; however, a lot of us are still clueless as to what this term exactly means. So for us to understand this word better, let us try to identify what does hobnocker mean?
First of all, the word hobnocker was first used by Wade Collins, which was then mentioned by David Archuleta on one of the episodes of the “iCarly” show. Just like what is mentioned earlier, the term hobnocker does not appear on any type of formal dictionary. The word hobnocker may have appeared on the Urban Dictionary with several suggested references and definition; but this only appeared after the term was mentioned in the said show. Nevertheless, the word hobnocker is portrayed or referred to as something that is negative and unpleasant. So if we were to summarize the definition/s of this term, we can definitely conclude that a hobnocker is someone that has done something that is gross and/or illegal. This word should also not be confused with “hobnobber”, which portrays the exact opposite of the hobnocker definition which is cool and awesome. Another common definition of the word hobnocker is described as someone who is into drugs, addiction or alcoholism. It is also referred to as a derogatory word that shows or describes lowlife and pervert. It is also concluded that a hobnocker is someone who is an exhibitionist. This person likes to touch his genitalia on other people as well as masturbate in public or do bestiality acts such as engaging sex with animals. In conclusion, a hobnocker is someone whose acts are not accepted by the public. This is because a hobnocker is someone who is very offensive and foul.
These are just some of the definitions that are related to the word hobnocker. Now we already know that calling or tagging someone as a hobnocker is definitely something that is not considered as a compliment. We may use this term as one of our vocabulary, but it is a must that we should be careful as when to use it and to whom.

A lot of us already know that Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. We also know that Mars is recognized as the red planet. However, there are still countless things that we don’t know about this very interesting planet. Mars, which is a neighboring planet of our planet Earth, holds a lot of secrets that only some of the experts know. Nevertheless, it is still possible for us to dig in more details about this place in order for us to know Mars a lot better. Here are some of the interesting facts about Mars.
Mars, aside from being the fourth nearest planet to the sun, is also considered the seventh largest among all the nine planets. Nowadays, many experiments and researches about this planet conducted by NASA as well as other scientists have sparked some interests about the red planet. Mars is also called as such (red planet) since the soil found on its surface is color red due to iron oxide, or otherwise known as rust. This planet was also named after Mars, who is the Roman God of War. Because of the advanced technology that we have, we were able to measure the equatorial radius of this planet which is approximately 3,397 kilometers. Its diameter is, of course, double the radius, which is 6,794 kilometers. In addition to these, our technology has also computed the approximate mass of Mars, which is 641,850,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg. Its surface temperature could also reach a maximum of 310 K and a minimum of 150 K and its atmospheric components is mostly made up of 95 percent carbon dioxide, 3 percent nitrogen and 1.6 percent argon.
If these statistics are not interesting enough, recent discoveries about this planet will surely leave us in awe. One of these is the latest discovery by scientists that a large amount of ice water, found under the land surface of Mars, is plenty enough to cover or fill the Lake of Michigan twice. This has also led to the speculation that Mars is a livable planet since the presence of water indicates the presence of oxygen in the area. However, there are still no solid facts and data to support this assumption aside from the discovery of the ice. Since Mars is mostly covered with dust and rust, dust storms are very common in this planet. Aside from this, Mars is also full of amazing land formations. In fact, Mars is the home of one of the largest volcanoes in the solar system. This is otherwise known as the Olympus Mons, which is approximately 3 times bigger or larger than Earth’s Mount Everest and is also as wise as the state of New Mexico. Canyons are also very common in this red planet. One of its largest is the Vallels Marineris, which is approximately as long as the country of USA. Likewise,we could also see moons on Mars. In fact, Mars does have 2 moons. Both of these were discovered by Asaph Hall in the year 1877. These moons were named as Deimos and Phobos.
These are just some of the interesting facts about the beautiful planet of Mars. It may be deserted with living things, but interesting points and features of this planet will always be overflowing.

You usually take drugs and other substances with therapeutic effects in order to make you feel better. However, these drugs vary on how long they stay in your system. Some could last only for a few hours while others could even take as long as several months. Knowing how long these substances stay in your system is very important. This does not only give you additional knowledge, but it also helps you become aware of its side effects and the proper ways in dealing with it. One of the most common substances that are used by people nowadays is none other than marijuana. Marijuana, which is also known as weed or cannabis, is a very strong psychoactive substance. This is one of the many reasons why you should always know how long does weed stay in your system.
Before knowing the answer to this question, you should first know some helpful information with regards to this substance. Marijuana or weed is a mixture of shredded leaves, stems, seeds and flowers of the hemp plant. This mixture is considered as fat soluble and is stored in the cells of the major organs of your body such as the brain, kidney and the liver. However, what makes the weed different from other plants is that it contains a psychoactive substance, which is known as TCH or tetrahydrocannabinol. Aside from this, marijuana also contains several other chemicals, mostly cannabinoids that can emphasize the effects of the TCH. Because of these components, the effects of the weed could last very long in our system. But the question is, how long?
Weed usually last depending on several factors. These factors include the weight or the size of the person taking the substances as well as the age, diet, fluid intake, metabolism, current health, degree of exposure to toxin, method used in taking the substance as well as the amount of weed utilized. Nevertheless, you can still conclude that weed can stay inside your body for as short as 3 days to as long as 90 days or approximately 3 months. This also depends on the half life of the said drug or substance. Half life would mean the rate of the drug as it is gradually eliminated out of the body. Usually the half life of the drug would take about 1 to 10 days. This would likewise suggest that traceable amounts could still be detected via urine drug testing even after 1 month. If you smoke occasionally only, then the drug could stay only for 10 days. If this is done frequently, it could last as long as 45 days. But, if it is already a habit to smoke regularly, then we could expect it to last for at least 3 months.
The speed of it entering your system also varies on the way it is taken in. if it is done through smoking, then the substance could enter the bloodstream in a few minutes, but if it is done orally, it could take at least 20 minutes to as long as 1 and half hours. These are just some of the things that you need to know about weeds. It is indeed important for you to know not just the effects and the indications of these drugs or substances, but as well as the length it stays in your system.

Writing a formal report or paper is a lot of work. You have to, of course, write sensibly. And the style of writing is very technical. You have so many guidelines to follow. How you should start your report, the tense you use, and even the spacing between each line and each paragraph are all being painfully scrutinized by the faculty reviewing your work and other members of the academe or institution to which you present your study or report. And one of the most important part or section of a paper would be the list of references or the bibliography.
These two are highly important because in the academe and anything that concerns writing, plagiarism is a big NO. You could be expelled from school or downright shamed if you do not cite your references properly. You always have to give credit to the person who wrote the idea you used. And so people make a list of references or a bibliography. Yet, people don’t know the difference between the two. In fact, many even think the two are the same. But there is a difference between them. Then, what is the difference between bibliography and references?
Bibliography and references are quite similar in a sense that both lists down the books, magazines, journals, and everything else that you have used when writing that term paper, article, or book. However, there is a slight difference on the types of materials or rather on how you used you used them when you were writing.
Bibliography is a list of all the materials you used to write your paper. It lists all of the books, lecture slides, websites, and journals, everything that you have consulted in the process of writing your paper or book. This is regardless of the fact whether they ended up in the actual text or not. You see, when people write, they consult so many materials in order to gather ideas for what they are writing. Because the process of writing is long, you write so many drafts, some of these ideas might not exactly transpire in your final paper. But that does not mean that the materials you used that were not included in the final text should not be credited anymore. You still used them, so they should still be credited.
References are those included in the actual text. They are cited directly in the text. And references are used to support your claims and arguments. It is noted that references give more of an authoritative stand on your writing.
To sum it up, bibliography is listing all of the materials you have used, those that were indirectly included in your actual text, while references are those that you cited in your paper, those that were directly included in your text. Keep these in mind when writing your article or book, but most importantly, keep in mind to give credit to those whose work you have used. Never ever plagiarize.

Then there’s blood! But there is no need to worry if you are planning to conceive a baby. Spotting during the early part of pregnancy is completely normal. Spotting occurs in the first two weeks of pregnancy when women do not even know they are already pregnant and so mistake it as the start of their menstrual period. And yes, it can be pretty misleading. So, how do we tell them apart?
One good way to tell the difference between an implantation spotting and a menstrual period would be how long it would last. Then, how long does spotting last? It differs among women. But spotting usually lasts for only a day or two. It would be really too short compared to a menstrual period which usually lasts for 5 to 7 days. To understand better how it takes spotting to last, let us first look at what spotting is and how it occurs.
What is spotting? Spotting is bleeding in a lighter way because you literally just see spots of it on your underwear or on a used toilet paper. It is not some heavy bleeding like in a menstrual period. It is only a light bleeding that is usually of pink or brownish red in color. The blood we shed during our menstrual period is not actually just blood. It is a mixture of blood and some tissues that line up the uterine wall to get ready for the baby. It is the same blood and tissues that get discharged during spotting. Once the egg is fertilized it goes to the uterus and implants itself on the wall of the uterus. And because of this implanting, some part of the lining gets shed off. But only a small amount of blood and tissues are lost. This is actually what we call, implantation bleeding or spotting.
The bleeding is too light that some women do not even notice it. Most women, however, notice a few spots once during the day and then they won’t see it again until the next day. Other women experience spotting for a few days, even for a few weeks. The case is different among women. And so if you are still quite unsure if you are pregnant or just having a light menstrual flow, better go and check it using a pregnancy test. If you already know that you are pregnant but are having a bright red discharge, you should go and consult your doctor. The same goes if you are having spotting with a pain or cramps. You should visit your doctor.

When we think of a name for a product or an item, we always make sure that it is catchy, easy to remember and also very unique. This is because it is considered as one of the best ways for us to sell an item or a product to the public. This kind of strategy also works very well with band names of music artists or dance groups. Using cool and striking tags for the group can easily make the band more popular to their audience. Doing this strategy can definitely help the group improve their album sales and promote the group for tours and other concerts. An example of a perfect group name is by using acronyms just like the RNB trio called TLC, which has already sold countless albums before. Because of this, aspiring dance groups and singers are now beginning to use acronyms, such as X Factor’s the JLS. But what does JLS stand for?
There are actually a lot of meanings that could be related to the acronym JLS. This could be defined as one of the following, which includes the Java Language Specification, Journal of Legislative Studies, Junior League of Springfield, Junior League of Seattle, Japanese Language System, Journal of the Lepidopterists’ Society and so much more. However, if we were to talk about the popular X Factor group called the JLS, then this would now mean “Jack the Lad Swing”. Jack the Lad Swing is a popular boy band group from Britain that joined the popular reality star search contest, X Factor. They were the season’s runner up contestant after losing the title from Alexandra Burke. The group consists of four members namely Aston Merrygold, Jonathan “JB” Gill, Marvin Humes and Ortise Williams. After joining the X Factor show, the group has already sold over 1.3 million copies of their album worldwide. But why were they called the JLS group or the Jack the Lad Swing?
Actually, the band’s first group was called as the “UFO” or the Unique Famous Outrageous” band. However, when they joined the reality show, they decided to change the group’s name to JLS due to some legal rights. Jack the Lad Swings was derived from the famous tag “Jack the Lad”, which refers to a guy who is a known womanizer or a lady’s man. They however, added the word “Swing” at the end in order to make it sound more like a music group and also sound groovy.
This is basically the meaning of JLS. Using this famous band name is probably one of the many reasons why the boy band has become very successful in selling their group to their audience as well as selling a lot of albums.

Our eyes are one of the most delicate parts of our body. However, they are also considered one of the most important. Without our eyes, we are not able to visualize and witness all the beautiful things that surround us. This is because our eyes are the ones that enable us to see. Unfortunately, various problems such as diseases and disorders can hinder us from using or utilizing the benefits of our eyes. Some of these include cataract formation, glaucoma, blurring of vision and so much more. Another problem that could also affect our eyes is none other than eye twitching. Most of us would usually just ignore it if we experience this kind of problem. However, taking this for granted can actually result to more problems in the future. This is the reason why we should always be aware of the different details of this eye condition. So what does it mean when our eye twitches?
First of all, what is eye twitching? Eye twitching is a type of condition that refers primarily to the involuntary twitching or movement of the muscles near the eye or of the eyelid. This is otherwise another type of eye spasm. There are times when the eyelid twitches repetitively or constantly that it becomes very rhythmic thus causing the eyelid to completely close. This condition or eye spasm can be caused by various factors that are medically related. However, some may also relate the meaning of eye twitches to many myths and superstitions. One of these superstitions says that when the right eye is blinking, it means that it’s good luck; however, if the left eye is the one having twitches, then it is supposed to be bad luck. Nevertheless, despite all these beliefs, medical intervention is the only thing that could be used in order to treat this problem.
Eye twitching is also called blepharospasm in medical terms. The degree of this problem usually varies on a case to case basis. Some experience severe spasms while others can also experience minor twitching only. These twitches are mostly related to facial nerve problems; however, specific causes as to why these nerves are not functioning properly are still unknown. Nonetheless, some factors such as stress, fatigue and lack of sleep are seen as triggering factors for this condition. In addition to these, drinking of (too much) alcohol, allergies, nutritional deficiencies and excessive intake of caffeine are also considered related to this problem. So what are the treatments for eye twitches?
Commonly, eye twitches only disappears or resolves on its own despite not having any medical management. Nevertheless, we could still do some intervention in order to hasten its symptoms. One of these is by applying warm compress on the affected eye while massaging the area gently. This can help soothe the eye muscles thus hindering it from any spasms. In case if it is caused by allergies, we can always try to wash our eyes or even take antihistamines or anti-allergy medications in order to remove the allergic reaction. These are just some of the ways we could treat this kind of eye problem. Now that we are already aware of the different information about eye twitching, we can definitely combat this problem a lot easier.

These days, we can definitely say that we are blessed with great technology. Because of the advancement of computer and the Internet, our life is already considered a lot easier than before. Nowadays, searching the web for hard-to-find information is already very hassle-free. This is made possible by many search engines such as Google and Yahoo. Because of this great success, many companies have decided to create their own search engine in competition of the already established big ones. One of these is none other than Microsoft’s Bing search engine or bing.com. However, up until now, many are still confused as to what the word or term “Bing” means? So, what does Bing stands for?
Bing basically means “Because it’s Not Google”. The definition of this acronym primarily targets it main competition, which is Google. As we all know, Google is considered as one of the best search engines out there. This is actually used by millions of people all over the world. This led Microsoft to create its own search engine, which is the Bing. Because of its name many critics and web users have compared its benefits and uses to Google and most of them have concluded that it is nowhere near as good as the latter. This is even led to some people changing its name from “Because it’s Not Google” to “But it’s Not Google”. As we can see, the meaning or the message given by the alteration has changed a lot. It basically shows that its features and benefits are still not as good as Google. Despite having a very high budget for advertising this engine, Microsoft was still unable to replace Google in the top spot. Aside from this, setting a very good ad for this new release have set greater expectations, which was not able to meet by Bing. Some experts have stated that for a new thing or gadget to replace an old, it should be at least ten times much better in terms of its benefits and features. This, nevertheless, was not able to fulfill by Microsoft since Google is still nowhere near the point of being replaced basing on its daily number of visitors and popularity.
However, Bing is still very plausible in giving us the things that we are trying to find or search. Nevertheless, Google is still preferred by many based on its benefits and performance. This is the reason why, if Bing wants to be known as “Because it’s Not Google” rather than “But its Not Google”, then it should make a huge step in improving its features in order to upstage Google. This might be very hard to do, but it is still very possible. Now, we already know what Bing stands for.

When we buy any type of phone, we must need a carrier for it to work. Just like Apple’s iPhones, we must have carrier in order for us to utilize its features. However, when Apple announced to the public that all iPhones will now be exclusive with AT&T, many people were in rage of the unjust decision of Apple. This is because many people are using T-Mobile as their carrier. This led us to ask the same question all over again; can I still use iPhone with T-Mobile? Although this would require us our skills and time, there is still hope for us in order to use our iPhone with T-Mobile. Here are some of the steps that we could do.
First of all, in order for us to get our iPhone’s working with the T-mobile network, we will need to download 3rd party software. In addition to this, the new Apple iPhones do have a current firmware that makes it hard for us to unlock. This means that it would already be difficult for us to use another network or carrier for this gadget aside from the AT&T. However, we could still try searching for the older version of the iPhone’s firmware and download it for us to use other carriers such as T-Mobile.
In case we are not technology or gadget savvy, we could still rely on many online retailers or shops that sell or offer pre-unlocked iPhones. These phones are unlocked by experts or certified people in order to allow different carriers in use. This is sometimes considered as one of the favorite options in order to use T-Mobile since it is hassle-free and it is also very fast and easy. Despite having these easy ways to make it possible for us to use T-Mobile, there are still some setbacks. One of these is the fact that we c annot use the 3G feature of the T-Mobile since iPhones are designed for AT&T and AT&T does have different 3G bands that are not similar to the T-Mobile’s. Nevertheless, the 2G feature will still work fine with the iPhone. Aside from this setback, the iPhones warranty will also be cancelled or become void due to unlocking it. This will remove all the free services the iPhone can have if it’s still under the warranty period. However, we are still very lucky to be able to use T-Mobile with these days’ new iPhones.
So now that we already know some of the ways in order for us to use iPhone with T-Mobile as well as the different risks involved, it is already up to us if we are ready or determined to use carrier of our choice despite having these setbacks.

Are you a Japanese anime lover? If yes, then for sue you know Naruto. Naruto is a Japanese manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. The story revolves around a young ninja, Naruto Uzumaki, and his journey towards becoming a Hokage. Hokage is the highest level of ninja that is recognized as being the strongest among others. The first naruto manga was published in August 1997 and from then on, the Naruto mania begun. As being the protagonist of the story, Naruto have a lot of challengers to knock down in order to achieve his goal. One of his many antagonists is Zetsu. What is the difference between Zetsu and Naruto?
Zetsu is a loyal member of Akatsuki. Akatsuki (or “Dawn”) is a criminal group of S-Class missing-nin. Their main goal is world domination and one way for them to achieve it is through capturing all the tailed beast. This group has a little role in the first series but stood out as the main antagonist on the second series.
Zetsu’s role in the team is to act as spy and perform duties comparable to hunter-nin. He serves as the look out during sealing ritual of the tailed beasts. When one of the Akatsuki’s members dies, he is the one who devour their body in order to hide their secrets (his devouring act is comparable to a fly trap). He is also the one who retrieves the ring from dead Akatsuki members. Due to his many capabilities, Zetsu is often seen to act alone. That is the reason why some members of the Akatsuki directly report to him instead of going to Pain, the group leader.
Zetsu has a split personality. This split personality is manifested by his two differently colored body (one is white and the other is black). The two halves of his body frequently talk to each other and at times hold on to different opinion of things. The black side of his body is a lot serious and intelligent that the easy going and carefree white half. Even though he has a split personality, Zetsu is known for his trustworthiness.
Zetsu has the capability to merge with the ground and travel to a different location. This capability is referred to as the Mayfly technique. He can record the things his eyes can see but it is not yet known on how he can show the recordings. He can split into two so that his two opposing persona can act independently. He can suck the chakra out of other people by simply engulfing them and can transfer the chakra to his team mates. Lastly, he can create clones that are great as decoys.
On the other hand, Naruto is the main character of the series. He is a Genin and knows Seniutsu. He belongs to the team kakashi and is the third of the nine tailed demon fox which the team Akatsuki wished to capture.
Naruto is known to be an achiever, simple, pervert (sometimes), hyperactive, impatient, inattentive, and impulsive. He drains himself too much just to achieve recognition. He would often pull pranks to the people around him and even targeted to be a Hokage. This hunger for recognition is brought about by his lonely childhood. He also has a charismatic power which positively affects the people around him.
The first technique that Naruto can do is the transformation technique. This technique is somewhat useless and he often use this to chock his teachers. As time went by (after undergoing different techniques), Naruto learned significant technique that could help him in his battle like the wind release: rasenshuriken and chakra arms. He has outstanding stamina and vitality. Lastly, Naruto can duplicate himself into hundreds of Narutos which is great to hide his true self and group attack a stronger enemy. Other abilities of Naruto are still on the process of development.
