The race to capture the bigger market has begun. Google is now thinking of different ways to catch the attention of users. It is working hard on its features like Google TV and Chrome OS notebook etc whereas Bing is speeding up with its Facebook addition. Earlier, Bing publicized their new feature with the association of Facebook that it will show user’s friends Facebook likes and dislikes while searching for a particular thing using Bing search engine. In answer to this, Google makes a similar social search feature associated with Twitter. It also plans on launching a social networking service. Since people use Facebook more than Twitter, so the results for Google wouldn’t be much satisfying.

Considering the research done 16 months earlier, right after 10 days Bing was introduced, Google still managed to attract 1.2% more users. Hence, if you combine Bing’s search percentage with Yahoo that makes a total of 28.5, still way behind Google’s market share.

Google went up to 66% in the share market and now dominates the world of search engines. Facebook and Bing( Microsoft) are partnering to improve search results on Facebook which many view as a mistake.
It’s the breakthrough in Online Advertising that made Google develop this fast. Facebook audience is growing at a rapid pace but the profits for each page is insufficient in comparison with Google. Bing has 11.2% of all the searches but the profits are fewer than that.
Google works as both search engine and advertising company, but the advertiseing wing keeps things camouflaged although it’s the ads that are bringigng in all the profits.
Google has spent a large sum of money to enhance its search engine which is the reason it broods about the online search service.
Advertisers in most cases believe that marketing via Google has profited them more than advertisements any place.
Facebook needs to improve the quality of its online search service to supersede Google in the future.

Though, it’s not interesting for all that Youtube has added a new feature that allows users to play famous game “Snake” while video is paused. Or else users can play this video while waiting for their video to be buffered on their 56Kbps connection, so it means this new feature is trying to give you a game for passing your time as it’s hard to wait for your videos and sitting idle on the internet. A great opportunity of wasting your precious time!

Facebook Access not available for BlackBerry users on their phones still the ban on the Facebook was lifted in the month of May, 2010. Ban on Facebook and Youtube was imposed by all cellular service providers on the directives of Pakistan Telecom Authority to suspend the internet service facility through BlackBerry services on the Blackberry phones.
The Ban was imposed by the orders of High Court of Pakistan in May, 2010 on Youtube, Facebook and more on displaying over blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him). The blackberry users in Pakistan are facing problem for last one month and still cellular service provider companies are charging internet fee from their subscriber. Customer’s are still complaining that they are not able to access the Facebook.
Cellular phone service operators in Pakistan had the stance that they block the services of Youtube, Facebook and other websites on the directives of PTA. BlackBerry phone users can access the internet through GPRs service instead of BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS). Services of BIS were stopped on the orders of regulatory authority to block the Blasphemous content on the internet.
According to Research in Motion (RIM) Technology, unable to restore the service as sites placing blasphemous contents are created on regular bases and it’s not possible to stop publishing such sites on net. RIM cannot develop separate system for Pakistan in order to follow the instruction passed by PTA.The cellular service provider companies are charging blackberry subscription charges from their users.

Those reforms have included liberalized foreign investment and exchange regimes, significant reductions in tariffs and other trade barriers, reform and modernization of the financial sector, and significant adjustments in government monetary and fiscal policies.
The reform process has had some very beneficial effects on the Indian economy, including higher growth rates, lower inflation, and significant increases in foreign investment. Foreign portfolio and direct investment flows have risen significantly since reforms began in 1991 and have contributed to healthy foreign currency reserves ($32 billion in February 2000) and a moderate current account deficit of about 1% (1998-99). India's economic growth is constrained, however, by inadequate infrastructure, cumbersome bureaucratic procedures, and high real interest rates. India will have to address these constraints in formulating its economic policies and by pursuing the second generation reforms to maintain recent trends in economic growth.
India's trade has increased significantly since reforms began in 1991, largely as a result of staged tariff reductions and elimination of non-tariff barriers. The outlook for further trade liberalization is mixed. India has agreed to eliminate quantitative restrictions on imports of about 1,420 consumer goods by April 2001 to meet its WTO commitments. On the other hand, the government has imposed "additional" import duties of 5% on most products plus a surcharge of 10% over the past 2 years. The U.S. is India's largest trading partner; bilateral trade in 1998-99 was about $10.9 billion. Principal U.S. exports to India are aircraft and parts, advanced machinery, fertilizers, ferrous waste and scrap metal, and computer hardware. Major U.S. imports from India include textiles and ready-made garments, agricultural and related products, gems and jewelry, leather products, and chemicals.
Significant liberalization of its investment regime since 1991 has made India an attractive place for foreign direct and portfolio investment. The U.S. is India's largest investment partner, with total inflow of U.S. direct investment estimated at $2 billion (market value) in 1999. U.S. investors also have provided an estimated 11% of the $18 billion of foreign portfolio investment that has entered India since 1992. Proposals for direct foreign investment are considered by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board and generally receive government approval. Automatic approvals are available for investments involving up to 100% foreign equity, depending on the kind of industry. Foreign investment is particularly sought after in power generation, telecommunications, ports, roads, petroleum exploration and processing, and mining.
As India moved into the mid-1990s, the economic outlook was mixed. Most analysts believed that economic liberalization would continue, although there was disagreement about the speed and scale of the measures that would be implemented. It seemed likely that India would come close to or equal the relatively impressive rate of economic growth attained in the 1980s, but that the poorest sections of the population might not benefit.
