Inception is still going gangbusters at the movies and doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon. This film has been the number one grossing film for weeks now and already people are asking “when can I get my own copy”. Anticipation is building for the Inception DVD Release. The only thing attracting more attention is speculation of the actual Inception DVD Release Date.

The good news is that Warner Bros. have been planning ahead and there is talk that this mind-bender of a film will be available on DVD in early December 2010. Great news for everyone who is busting with excitement about owning it for themselves!

The exact Inception DVD release date isn’t officially released however according to various sources, Warner Brothers are looking to release the movie on DVD and Blu-Ray on or around the 6 th December. Warner Brothers have a history of releasing their big budget hits in early December. An example of this is back in 2008 the studio’s big earner was another Christopher Nolan directed film called the Dark Knight. This film earned more than $533 million at the box office and Warner Brothers released it on DVD on the 9th December the same year.

Another good example of how Warner Brothers have chosen their DVD release date in the past is in 2009 with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was in cinemas July 15th 2009 and then released on DVD/Blu-Ray on December the 8th the same year.
There are other movies that fit this theme and the case for the Inception DVD Release Date to be the 7th December appears very possible. The short video below explains the roles of each character and how they relate to each other, a great way to understand the Inception Film if you haven’t seen it, or need reminding of how good it actually is!

The Inception Story

The Inception Story is an interesting one, Dom Cobb (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) is a man with a unique gift, the ability to invade peoples dreams, (Inception).
When someone is in a dream state, the mind is at it’s most vulnerable. Dom Cobb is able to extract information from a person and this has made him very valuable to corporations wanting business secrets from rival companies.
Corporate espionage is what Dom Cobb is good at. Now instead of taking information from someone, a man called , Saito (a energy magnate) wants him to plant an idea into a rival’s mind leaving his rival to believe its his own idea. Cobb takes the near impossible job in the hope he will be able to return to his children.
The trouble is, it involves planting three layers of dreams within dreams to achieve and a larger team to make it happen. If anything goes wrong, the dreamers may not awake and as the deception grows more complex, Cobb has to deal with feelings of guilt which are projecting themselves into the dreamspace.
Eventually he has to deal with the question of, what is real, and what is only a dream!
The Inception  Story has been described as a cross between the Matrix and James Bond. The eventual Inception DVD release date may be 6 thDecember
